Aaron Benjamin
I am a Behavioral Threat Assessment and Crisis Communication Specialist with more
than 18 years of experience across law enforcement, public safety, corrections intelligence, OSINT investigations, military reconnaissance, federal law enforcement, executive security function, crisis intervention, and de-escalation.
At Executive Security International (ESI), I support behavioral intelligence, crisis communication, and student review functions in high-liability training environments. My role includes conducting follow-up interviews and behavioral assessments of students who present concern indicators and helping determine whether they are fit to continue training, require intervention, or should be referred for a higher level of support.
My background includes service as a former Lieutenant with the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Department of Public Safety, where I served as Lead Hostage Negotiator, Lead Crisis Intervention Officer, and Crisis Coordinator, helping establish and oversee the program. I also served as a Gangs Intelligence Officer with the South Carolina Department of Corrections, worked in maritime enforcement and search and rescue in the United States Coast Guard, and served as a 19D Cavalry Scout in the South Carolina Army National Guard, including deployment to Afghanistan. Through Sacred Guardian Crisis Consulting, my work remains focused on behavioral threat assessment, crisis communication, protective intelligence, and private human-risk matters requiring structured judgment, de-escalation, and risk-based decision-making.
